First let me start by saying that I am not against the empowerment of women but then again you have to ask yourself , why would a woman want to do all the things that a man can do ?
The physique of a woman calls for a delicate touch while that of a man is known to be more rugged. These are roles that are intricate in their nature , divinely assigned by the creator (if I'm not wrong i remember being taught something along those lines in my philosophy class, finally found some use for that knowledge) or so I would like to believe so why go out of your way to oppose that ?
There is no reward in having a woman push herself past her limits so that she can be declared equal to a man in a jury of her peers. I don't deem it necessary , for in the search for equality are we simply not just promoting more inequality ? We were not created equal when it comes to gender, the mere outlook of our anatomy tells the tale .
This in turn does not mean that opportunities should not be availed across the board, but we must acquire the intelligence to comprehend what best compliments our nature. Unless this is clear we might end up with a society of men that seek to be women and vice versa and that in my book would be a travesty.
I recently came across a video creating awareness about domestic violence(See below) and the way society is set at the moment , it seems only a woman can be subjected to domestic violence (insert sarcastic tone ). We all know this isn't true but people don't see men as fragile and that is the truth of the matter. So next time you want to argue about equality think about that.
